Yes, the Black Muse offers a subtle trace of extraordinary flavor that endlessly remains in your thoughts, reminding you of something special. After all, Muse means “to think”, ponder, or meditate. Now, let’s tell you a little about the Chardonnay grape variety:
Including both red and white variety grapes, Chardonnay is know to have one of the broadest ranging aromatic and tasting profiles. This is due to the influence of terrain, climate, at harvest ripeness, and aging methods. Generally speaking, Chardonnay is a relatively dry, medium-bodied white wine with crisp notes of apple, guava, pear, and lemon peel.
Once you add some oak into the process of aging, the flavors dramatically shift, giving a heavy vanilla, butter, pineapple, and English pudding ending. Most enthusiasts prefer either one or the other. I prefer non-oaky Chardonnay which gives a smoother taste with less bite.
Soil with a chalky mineral limestone has an excessively well effect on the Chardonnay grape vines. Limestone primarily consists of sea-life, accumulated over millions of years where ancient seas once were. Each and every sip is a sampling of Earth’s history. I truly love knowing this!
The Chardonnay grape time of harvest is mainly influenced by the climate they are grown in. California’s Central Coast weather is predominantly warm allowing the grapes to fully ripen, giving their distinct flavor of tropical fruit and a lighter acid level. Chardonnay grapes lose their acidity gradually as they ripen, so harvests need to be timed appropriately depending on what style the Vintner wants to produce.

Creative activity is a gift and sometimes unasked for.
I always wanted to be able to sing.
Well, it seems I did not receive that creative activity.
However, I continue to reflect and ponder that some day my voice will “kick in” & I will sing like an angel.
So, in the meantime I will continue to sing.
…and I find that “A MUSING”.
