Aloe Vera Plant

Today, everyone around the world is experiencing the Coronavirus Pandemic, making sanitizers and ingredients impossible to find. It seems that we can always fall back on nature to provide for us. How Thieves Oil Got Its Name

In 1413, the Black Death or Bubonic Plague swept through France. Four Thieves were imprisoned from stealing from the dead or dying wealthy people. Many, of whom infected with the Plague.
They were to be burned alive as a penalty for their crimes. However, the judge wanted to know how the thieves remained alive. Furthermore, he promised not burn them alive if they would tell him their secret.
The thieves were spice and perfume traders that couldn’t find work. They concocted an essential oil blend to keep them from catching the Black Death. They wore it on their hands, feet, temples, ears, and inside their masks on a cloth.
Folklore says that the judge kept his word and didn’t burn them alive. Instead, the thieves were hanged and the judge kept his word.
